Great Berbere
This is the best berbere spice blend I have used. Authentic level of spice. I have made doro wat with this and it turned out amazing. Also have been using this on fish and other chicken dishes..so delicious! Also love that it is organic!

Ethiopian Berbere
Absolutely delicious. Loved it on chicken and pork (haven't tried it on other meats). Also, goes great with a carrot onion soup.

I love this mix. I use it on squashes/ corn and chicken prior to roasting or grilling. It's amazing. Spicy though ( which I love) so if tender mouthed use sparingly...

Best Spice Ever
We originally purchased for an homemade ethiopian dinner, which we loved, but have found it to be a delightful spice for many other items. It has some heat but the complexity balances out. We have had other berbere seasonings, but this is by far the best. Our first purchase was the tin, but we went through it so quickly we bought the pound bag.

Absolutely titilating
This is my second 22 ounce package. The first package I separated into small quantities of 10 Tablespoons each with an included recipe from 'Eating Well' and gave them out as Xmas presents. So, I had to order another. I recently served it to the members of my home owners association in an Ethiopian-Spiced Chicken Stew to rave reviews. Shipping was on time and well packaged.

Excellent rub and for stews
I would give this a 5 star except that I have nothing to compare it to - it is my first purchase of Berbere - a wonderful blend of spices. We use it for meat rubs and for making stews. However, it is not as hot as we imagined. Definitely has a kick but within our range. Skip purchasing the small container - you will want the one pound package!
