Shepherd Herb Mix will enhance the flavor of any food. It can be used to give just a hint of aromatics or added with abandon to bring a fresh and full herb profile to your food. We love to add it to ground meats, pasta dishes, and salad dressings. During the long Vermont winter, Shepherd gives us a taste of warmth and sunshine.

Completely delicious in lentil soup
We received a sample of Shepards Mix in our last order. I immediately thought of a organic sprouted lentil and sprouted rice soup. Made it this morning and was totally delighted. Also included mushrooms, onions, celery, parsley in the soup. Oh, Oh, so good.

My sixth tin with more to come in the future
I originally bought 1 tin at the coop in Montpelier. Love this spice mix as it enhances so many different dishes from morning omelets to evening salmon or steak dinners and so much in between. I can get it locally so I order it 2 or 3 tins at a time. It is my "go to" spice mix.

An all around wonderful blend of flavors
I grow my own vegetables and so want to experience their fresh taste. This is a wonderful combination of flavors that enhances and brings out the best of the meal, whether it is a grilled meat, salad, omelet, sautéed vegetables etc, without over powering the flavor. I can't imagine cooking without this mix of flavors.

Subtle Tastes.
My husband and I are vegetarian and we have been experimenting with The Teeny Tiny Spices with our evening meals. The Organic Shepherd Herb mix is mild and adds a very mellow taste to our vegetables. The tastes are so subtle that they do not overpower the taste of the vegetables.

Multi-purpose Herb Blend
I received Shepherd Herb mix last week and used it first on roasted veges. Frozen broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts (whatever) - 425 degrees. Mix frozen veges with a couple tablespoons EVOO and sprinkle on 1-2 Tbs. Shepherd Herb (depending on how many veges you have. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in oven while it's heating. Start checking at about 20 minutes - so yummy and good for you. Today I put 1 heaping teaspoonful into a pot of Italian vege soup. Again it was perfect. Thanks for this great mixture.

Good for every meal
I recently discovered the Shepherd's Herb Mix and am now on my third canister. It is a savory mixes that i often use three meals a day, in an omelet for breakfast, definitely as a seasoning on salads, on streamed vegetables, as a rub on fish and meat. Because of the complexity of the blend, I don't get tired of its flavor, it enhances rather than overpowering the main ingredient.

Chef Approved
My wife is a retired culinary trained chef and I gave a few spices for Christmas. We were not disappointed. Used this today on prime rib bone in roast which was superb. Excellent product!
